Roma: In metropolitana (trascrizione italiana)
Marisa è arrivata a Roma. Ora è nel suo hotel.
Ha lasciato la valigia in camera e vuole uscire.
Vuole visitare il centro della città.
Il receptionist le consiglia di prendere la metropolitana.
— È veloce e comoda, dice.
— Grazie! risponde Marisa.
Cammina per cinque minuti. Trova una stazione della metro.
Sopra l’ingresso c’è la lettera M rossa: Metropolitana.
Marisa entra. È la sua prima volta nella metro italiana.
Guarda intorno e cerca la biglietteria.
[Dialogo: Alla biglietteria automatica]
Marisa legge lo schermo.
Sceglie “Biglietto singolo”. Costa un euro e cinquanta.
Inserisce due euro e prende il biglietto e il resto.
Poi chiede a un uomo vicino:
— Scusi, qual è la linea per il Colosseo?
— La linea B, direzione Laurentina.
— Grazie mille!
— Di niente.
Marisa scende le scale e arriva al binario.
Ci sono molte persone: turisti, studenti, lavoratori.
Dopo pochi minuti, il treno arriva. Le porte si aprono.
Marisa entra e si siede.
[Dialogo: In metro]
Vicino a lei c’è una signora anziana.
— Scusi, questa fermata è il Colosseo?
— No, è la prossima.
— Ah, grazie!
— Prego, buona visita!
Il treno si ferma. Una voce dice:
“Prossima fermata: Colosseo.”
Marisa scende. È emozionata.
Davanti a lei, fuori dalla stazione, c’è il Colosseo. È enorme.
Sorride. Il suo viaggio continua.
Rome: On the subway (English translation)
Marisa has arrived in Rome. Now she’s at her hotel.
She has left her suitcase in the room and wants to go out.
She wants to visit the city center.
The receptionist suggests taking the metro.
— It’s fast and convenient, he says.
— Thank you! replies Marisa.
She walks for five minutes and finds a metro station.
Above the entrance is a big red M: Metropolitana.
Marisa goes inside. It’s her first time on the Italian metro.
She looks around and searches for the ticket machine.
[Dialogue: At the ticket machine]
Marisa reads the screen.
She chooses “Single ticket”. It costs one euro and fifty cents.
She inserts two euros and gets the ticket and the change.
Then she asks a man nearby:
— Excuse me, which line goes to the Colosseum?
— Line B, direction Laurentina.
— Thank you very much!
— You’re welcome.
Marisa goes down the stairs and arrives at the platform.
There are many people: tourists, students, workers.
After a few minutes, the train arrives. The doors open.
Marisa gets in and sits down.
[Dialogue: On the metro]
Next to her is an elderly lady.
— Excuse me, is this stop the Colosseum?
— No, it’s the next one.
— Oh, thank you!
— You’re welcome. Enjoy your visit!
The train stops. A voice says:
“Next stop: Colosseo.”
Marisa gets off. She is excited.
Right in front of the station, she sees the Colosseum. It’s huge.
She smiles. Her journey continues.
